Please note that this is the official website of the 58th ESPN Annual Meeting for registrations. No other websites, companies, or agencies are authorised to sell registrations or hotel bookings in any form, nor to contact participants directly.
Advance registration is strongly recommended in order to facilitate the planning of the scientific sessions and social events of the congress.
INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONS
Participants may proceed using the online registration system.
Offline registrations and requests for pro-forma invoices sent by email are subject to an additional administration fee of €30.00.

Delegate Registration is mandatory for all oral and posters presenters.
Name changes incur a handling fee of € 50,00 per registration.
* ESPN Members: to benefit from the discount, you will need to become an ESPN Member (no other society is eligible for discount) before registering. Membership status will be verified by ESPN. Be aware if your membership is not updated, the “Non-member fee” will be applied.
* Residents and Students: application for the resident fee and for medical students should be certified by a letter from the head of the department/university of Student ID to be uploaded in the online platform directly (pdf format is required), stating that the applicant is a pediatric resident/medical student at the time of registration.
* Developing Countries: valid for Upper middle-income countries (visit website)
* Honorary and retired Members: the status will be verified by ESPN.
* Low income /Lower-Middle countries: Valid for Low income countries (visit website) and Lower-middle income countries (visit website).

A visa invitation letter may be requested during the registration process.
Only participants who are fully registered for the meeting are eligible to receive a personal invitation letter.
If requested, any costs related to the hard copy of the invitation letter sent by express courier must be paid in advance.
Please note that the visa invitation letter is intended solely to assist participants in obtaining a visa or official permission to attend the Meeting. It does not constitute a commitment by the organizers to cover any expenses or to provide financial support. All costs related to attendance at the conference remain the sole responsibility of the participants.
Terms of Payment
The following credit cards are accepted: American Express, VISA, MasterCard.
Starting September 2019, new European regulations for online credit card payments require 3D Secure verification. This adds an extra layer of protection by asking your bank for a password, code, or biometric confirmation.
Please make sure your credit card is enabled for international transactions within the Eurozone. If your payment does not go through, contact your credit card issuer for assistance.
The registration will be confirmed once your credit card payment is successfully processed. A confirmation email will then be sent automatically.
Cash payment in Euro will be accepted on-site.

Charges
All expenses shall be borne by ordering customer.
Please note that intermediary bank fees may be applied, please verify with your local bank.
Important information
Please indicate your name and surname and ESPN 2026 as reference on your payment so that we can identify you for confirmation.
Invoices
Invoices for addresses within the European Union must include a VAT Number. The billing address and VAT number can only be entered during the registration process. If you have any special requests regarding your invoice, please inform us at the time of registration.
Off-line registrations and requests for additional € 30,00 administration charge. Any changes to the VAT number or billing address requested after the invoice has been issued will also incur a €30 administration fee.
Cancellation policy
All changes or cancellations must be sent electronically by email to: registrationESPN@oic.it.
All delegates are strongly recommended to stipulate a personal travel insurance.
- Cancellations received by 22 June 2026 midnight CET: The paid amount will be refunded minus 30%, which will be invoiced as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received from 23 June to 7 September 2026 midnight CET: The paid amount will be refunded minus 70%, which will be invoiced as a cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received after 7 September 2026 midnight CET: No refund will be processed.
If you are unable to attend the Congress for any reason after paying, and/or cannot transfer your registration to another person, you must cancel your registration. Refunds will only be issued if the cancellation request is received before the deadlines stated above. No refunds will be granted once a service has started or is considered underway.
If you are unable to attend due to a Visa denial, a refund may be granted upon submission of a copy of the visa rejection letter. The refund will be issued minus the applicable cancellation fees mentioned above. No refunds will be issued for additional charges such as express shipping of invitation letters.
We strongly recommend that all delegates obtain personal travel insurance.
Insurance
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel and health insurance before attending the congress. Please note that registration fees do not include any insurance coverage, and OIC does not provide insurance of any kind for attendees. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure they have adequate health and travel insurance for the duration of their stay.
Liability disclaimer
In the event of serious, unforeseen, or exceptional circumstances beyond their control, ESPN and OIC reserve the right to cancel or change the dates of the event. Attendees will not be entitled to compensation for any costs or damage resulting from such changes or cancellations. ESPN and OIC are not liable for any theft, loss, or damage to property or personal injury occurring on site during the Congress, unless caused by intent, negligence, or deliberate misconduct on their part.
ESPN and OIC shall not be held responsible for any food poisoning or intoxication occurring during the event.
